Helena Fernandez & Claudio Villagra
Helena Fernandez graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance in London in 2000 and transitioned to international tango dancing and choreography after a decade of dedicated study. Helena has taught and performed worldwide, including Europe, Asia, and America. She also holds a degree in Physiotherapy, specializing in neurological patients,
enhancing her tango technique classes.
Helena has been featured in numerous TV shows and has performed in prestigious theaters globally. Additionally, she judged several dance competitions in Brazil and performed with the "Tango Seducción" dance company.
Claudio Villagra began learning tango at an early age, mentored by his grandfather Hector Contreras and later by renowned maestros like Juan Aurelio and Juan Carlos Copes. After performing in various Buenos Aires tango shows such as La Ventana, Michelangelo, and El Querandi, he embarked on an international career, gracing prestigious venues like Broadway's Walter Kerr and Marquis theaters, Olympia in Paris, and Colon Theatre.
Claudio's talent led him to perform with major companies such as Tanguera, Tango Seduccion, Tango Argentino, and Forever Tango. He later created his own show, "Latin Tango," serving as director and choreographer. His expertise has made him a sought-after teacher and judge at international tango championships and festivals. Today, he partners with Helena Fernandez, together known for their artistic versatility across various tango styles.
We will have the pleasure to have them exclusively for us before the beginning of the festival, teaching 1 hour reduced group daily lessons from 8th to 11th of September.

Located roughly an hour from the Las Vegas Strip in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the adventure begins when you arrive at Willow Beach, Arizona. This tour is perfect for beginners and advanced paddlers alike! Many paddlers enjoy descending into the crystal-clear, emerald waters of the Colorado River. Take a break from kayaking and hike up a hill to a historical site with breathtaking views of the entire canyon.

Meals
Meals according to itinirary: 1 lunch (during the kayaking excursion to Black Canyon) and 3 dinners (Bottiglia, King's Fish House, Lamaii). All meals include 1 glass of red or white wine per person
Transfers
Private transfers will be arranged for all pick-ups and drop-offs as required in the program. All transfers during your stay are included in the price of the package.
If you decide to stay at the Sunset Station hotel, please be aware that you will need to arrange your transfers to and from Green Ranch Valley Hotel, as it is the departure point for all activities.

Extra nights in hotels
Las Vegas Tango Holiday includes 5 nights in Green Valley Ranch Hotel. If you decide to stay for the Las Vegas Tango Festival, we advise you to book the extra nights in advance.
Breakfast
Breakfast is not included in the price of the package. Breakfast options are available at the hotel for an additional cost.

Tipping in the USA is customary and often expected in many service industries. It’s a significant part of income for many service workers in the USA, and while it’s technically optional, it’s considered good manners
and a way to show appreciation for good service.
Transfers between the hotels if you stay at Sunset Station
If you decide to stay at Sunset Station hotel, please be aware that all activities will start from Green Ranch Valley Hotel. You'll need to arrange to meet there, as it is the departure point for all activities.
Cancelation Policy
If you decide to cancel your stay, please inform us in writing.
The deposit of 500 euros will not be refunded. After the remaining balance has been paid by September 1st, unless you find another person to replace you for this trip, any cancellation will be as follows:
- Less than 7 days prior to departure, 50% refund will apply.
- No refunds will be applied for cancellation after the start of the trip or for unused services.
